NYC Brings the Love
This past weekend was amazing and I just had to share it with you! I attended an alumni conference for my alma mater The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. On the train back from NYC last night, sitting in silence at just how transformational it was for myself and for my business, I was in complete awe at the flood of creativity and love that poured from my heart. When you have surrounded yourself with people and things you are passionate about – you truly feed your soul the food it requires to then go out in the world and spread your core message.
I will make a confession to you now my friend – I did not know what my message was. I just wanted you to take care of yourself and eat healthy, or so I thought. Delving deeper into my story, my life, and realizing that the message I was spreading was not the passionate spark in my heart, was enlightening…. and frightening. I mean, now I need to do something about it, right?
Fear can be immobilizing. It can stop us dead in tracks. Being scared tightens up every organ in your body and completely constricts that flow of love that it is your DUTY to allow out into the world. What if they don’t like me? What if I fail? The truth is – they might not like you, you will “fail” at times (or so you may think). This is life – it is lessons, it is gifts, it is LOVE at it purest form. My gift to you is to give you the skills to nurture and love yourself, to be wellFULL, nourishing with your body and generous with your gifts. To take a moment with each choice, whether it be food, friend, hobby and say to yourself :
HOW WILL THIS NOURISH ME RIGHT NOW?
To create YOUR good life and shine in your own light.
I have rearranged my schedule on Thursday, March 7 from 9:30am EST – 2:30pm EST to take several appointments for FREE Health Awareness Sessions. Contact me today at gina@goodlifehealthcoaching.com to secure your time. Are you ready to shine?
Thank you for sharing your experience in going to the IIN Conference this weekend and how it changed your perspective to let your heart speak, feel the fear and do it anyway! Needed to hear this today
Blessing to you! <3
thank you so much Amber! I’m more glad that you found some strength from the post!! XOXO
Beautiful that you were so inspired to be so generous with your skills and time
Thank you Marie!
I am in IIN right now and am loving it and can totally related to your loving soulful feelings about being around so many like minded mission driven people and to be able to do the work that means so much to us. I am so glad you had such an amazing time at the conference. Who was your favorite speaker?
hey Angela, for me, Gabrielle Bernstein and Danielle LaPorte were amazing, but must say that I found value in each and every speaker there this weekend.
I am studying at IIN as well. I’m really happy to hear your experience at the conference! I really liked your inspirational question, “How will this nourish me right now?” Provoking and hits home!
Lindsey, thanks! I have to say at the end of the train ride home, then car for 30 minutes, I was hungry, tired and emotional. I could have grabbed something that my old self would have grabbed to eat (like a pint of ice cream), but instead thought of that very “How will this nourish me??” and opted for the lentil and brown rice soup I had in a large jar in the fridge, that I had made earlier that week!
Beautiful post, Gina. Thank you for sharing
Thank you Hayley!
It’s amazing the lessons you get from such a strong and unstoppable energy – like that of the IIN crowd. I wish I got to see you. I was in the nosebleed section also trying to figure out my message and glad to be at a good distance from the mike being sent around. I like what you are highlighting here. Good post and good message!
Nice post Gina. I find the IIN conferences to be so clarifying. I believe the conferences are worth their weight in gold! Thanks for sharing…and I love your take away! ~Cathy
So Fun! I wish I could have made it to this, I bet it was a blast! thanks for sharing!!
